Operation process of international railway transport business

1. Entrustment
The shipper informed the agent of the need to arrange vehicle or container transportation, the sending station, the country to which the goods will be transported and the destination, the name and quantity of the goods, the estimated time of transportation, the name of the customer’s unit, telephone number, contact person, etc.

2. Transport documents
The shipper needs to entrust our company in writing to confirm the quotation and agency relationship between the shipper and the agent: (1) Letter of Authorization for Transportation (2) Letter of Authorization for Customs Declaration (3) Letter of Authorization for Inspection Application (4) Customs Declaration, Inspection Application Form (stamped with the special seal of the consigner) (5) Contract (6) Packing List (7) Invoice (8) Commodity Inspection Release Form (9) Verification Form, etc.

3. Customs declaration
The shipper shall prepare all the above documents and send them to the company designated by the agent. The agent shall arrange port customs declaration for the shipper, that is, customs declaration in Manzhouli, Erenhot, Alashankou, Pingxiang and other places.

4. Departure
According to the notice of transportation plan arrangement, when the shipper delivers the goods for shipment, the customs declaration form, contract, packing list, invoice, customs seal and other documents shall be taken to the port along with the goods declared at the local place of shipment. For customs declaration at the port, express the contract, packing list, invoice, customs declaration, commodity inspection certificate and other documents to the port agency of the agency. After the goods are shipped, the third copy of the waybill shall be submitted to the consignor.

5. Port handover
After the goods arrive at the port, they need to go through the formalities of customs transfer and transshipment. After the goods are transferred to the foreign car for shipment, the freight company will notify the shipper of the transshipment time of the goods at the port, the foreign car number and other information.

6. Return Customer Doc
After the goods are changed and handed over, the customs will return the verification sheet and customs declaration verification sheet to our company, and some freight companies will return them to customers according to the payment of freight.

Precautions for international railway transport business

1. Check the condition of the container: Before loading, please carefully check whether the container is suitable for the goods, whether it is polluted, damaged, or leaking. In case of such problems, you can refuse to load and immediately notify our company to replace or repair the container.
2. Overload is not allowed: the cargo weight limit stipulated by international railway intermodal transport is 21.5 tons/20 ‘; 26.5 tons/40 ‘; There are many kinds of weight limit for the car, please consult TMT separately.
3. No eccentric load: the eccentric load affects the railway loading operation and seriously affects the traffic safety. It is required that the center of gravity of the goods must be centered, and the deviation from the center of the intersection line at the bottom of the box shall not exceed 10 cm, so as to load evenly.
4. Goods are well reinforced: if the goods are not well reinforced in the box, the goods will move or even overturn when the vehicle turns, and the safety of goods will be seriously affected.
5. It is better to number and mark the loaded goods clearly by case, and accurately reflect them on the packing list, so as to facilitate tally and customs inspection.
6. After loading, please supervise the driver to seal and both parties sign to hand over the seal number and box number.
